Enterprise Data and Analytics (EDA) leads the University’s work in developing and maintaining a business intelligence environment providing data-driven insights to inform strategic decision making. We combine data from multiple sources into the Institutional Data Warehouse (IDW) for reporting and analytics purposes. EDA manages the data warehouse, provides data access, supports staff report development, and provides training.
September 12 – The Admissions package will be updated to include the new Slate Admissions Application data. The update will cause errors in reports you have created. As a result, all personal Admissions reports in your My Content folder will need to be modified or rebuilt.
Instructions will be available on how to modify existing report on September 12. Members of our staff will be available if you would like assistance modifying or rebuilding your reports. Please email us at email@example.com to request assistance.
September 12 – A new folder called Dashboards will be added to each package folder. All Dashboards will then be located in the Dashboards folder and all Reports will remain in the Reports folder. You can see the current full path for each Dashboard and Report on our website below. A few new reports have been added to Student Records. Probation by Advisor with Prompt provides a list of students who are on Probation for the selected term. The prompt options are by College, Department, Plan, Subplan or Advisor. Probation by Advisor Self Service provides a list of students who are on Probation who are assigned as Advisees for the person executing the report for the selected term. Academic Warning by Advisor with Prompt provides a list of students who are on Academic Warning for the selected term. The prompt options are by College, Department, Plan, Subplan or Advisor. Academic Warning by Advisor Self Service provides a list of students who are on Academic Warning who are assigned as Advisees for the person executing the report for the selected term.
The Student Address report was modified to add an optional prompt by College, Department, Plan, or Subplan.
A new report was added to the Admissions package called New Transfer Student Details. It provides a list of the New Transfer Students who have registered for courses for the Admit term selected. This can be run by Program, Department or Plan.
