The Application Development team provides a professional service for the development and maintenance of Web applications, CICS transactions, PeopleSoft HCM, batch processing, reports, and application integration services to Illinois State University administrative units, colleges, and departments. The service provides consulting and application development services that leverage best practices as well as a defined software development life cycle (SDLC) methodology.

Business Applications Analysis

Administrative Technologies provides analysis of existing business applications for improvement opportunities and also prior to development of new applications. This service includes identifying requirements and functional specifications, creating templates and user interface designs, creating reference documents and manuals, and coordinating and facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT).

Business Intelligence

Utilizing a performance management program, Administrative Technologies provides the campus community with information and knowledge that allows for data-driven decision making.

Enterprise Resource Planning

Administrative Technologies provides research, analysis, and implementation of enterprise resource planning initiatives.

Line of Business System Support

Administrative Technologies provides delivery and support of business applications used by University staff, including resolution of technical issues. Applications include, but are not limited to, SharePoint, Velocity, TMA, Redbird Card, EMS Lite, LRS Video, Apogee, SCLIntra, EventsPro, and Portfolio.
