Status: In Testing. Development is just about completed. A number of UAT's have been performed and defect corrections being made.

Description: Research Windows 7 operating system, determine the appropriate configuration needed to provide a useable and secure computing client and then populate our customer's workstations with the new environmnet
Status: Approximately 20% of customer's workstations have the Windows 7 environment, with the remaining worstations estimated to be completed by December 2012.

Description: The Grade Reporting ODS project aims to build an operational data store for all grade related data that currently resides on the mainframe. Industry standards advise to keep reporting data separate from operational data. This project will help meet that requirement by creating a reporting database. The new Informatica tool recently acquired by BITS will be heavily utilized to perform the extract, transformation, and loading of the data.
Status: Analysis 95% completed. Meeting with customers to determine ODS load times in order to meet SLA. Developers to undergo Informatica training mid February.

Description: Program modifications needed to restrict Juniors and Seniors from residing in on-campus housing.
Status: Analysis is underway. Changes will be worked in with the Cardinal Court project

Description: Engaged consulting resource to review issues encountered with commitment accounting functionality since the implementation of PeopleSoft.
Status: Project team is working through gap analysis. The Work Study module is close to completion.

Description: Redesigning the current RightFAX virtual faxing application into an enterprise class service that incorporates new features of the application, server virtualization, database clustering, and server redundancy.
Status: Working on technical issues related to integrating the RightFAX software and the campus telephone system, as well as web interface browser limitations.

Description: The development and implementation of a new central system to monitor all aspects of IT services offered by Admininstrative Technologies.
Status: Phase I and II are complete. Current efforts focus on expanding the monitoring beyond the hardware and looking at the services....

Description: Design and build a VMware environment to hourse systems that require large amounts of computing resources.
Status: Implemented a short term environment consisting of repurposed hardware to host systems that needed immediate deployment. The second phase of this project will revolve around the installation of more robust host servers to provide a long term Tier 1 virtual environment.
